Job Summary

This role involves conducting independent research within a DFG-funded project focused on understanding lithium-ion transport processes in battery electrode materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing LiMnxFe1-xPO4 bulk samples, designing and executing experiments on ion transport in solids using Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry and electrochemical methods. They will also present findings at conferences and publish in international journals. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field, with a passion for experimental work and strong problem-solving skills. This position offers the opportunity for doctoral studies within a supportive academic environment at TU Clausthal, a research-intensive university known for its close collaboration with industry and focus on sustainable circular economy.

Experience
