Job Summary

The Special Tools Engineer will be essential in ensuring the availability and quality of specialized tooling required for combustion engines post-production across Liebherr sites. This role involves deep collaboration with R&D, Production, and Service teams to identify tooling needs and define specifications. A core responsibility is designing these special tools for field service technicians and customers. The successful candidate will manage the entire lifecycle of the tools, including supplier coordination, maintaining technical data (drawings, 3D models in Windchill), testing, and final approval. This position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3-5 years of design experience, combined with excellent knowledge of combustion engine technology.
