PhD Position in Vascular Damage Research | PhD-Position (m/w/d) im Forschungsprojekt Mi-VascAD
Universitätsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein
Job Summary
This PhD position offers an exciting opportunity to join an interdisciplinary research team at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) and contribute to the MI-VascAD project. The role focuses on investigating mechanisms of vascular damage in autoimmune diseases, specifically through the development and application of antibody-conjugated magnetic particles for magnetic particle imaging (MPI) and cell-based models. Day-to-day tasks include establishing and optimizing antibody-magnetic particle conjugates, validating their functionality using advanced assays like ELISA and MST, and analyzing their effects on cell activation and morphology in 2D and 3D cell models. The successful candidate will work closely with subprojects on MPI and in vivo models, prepare publications, and actively participate in international conferences. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with a background in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related fields, eager to conduct innovative research in immunology and imaging within a supportive and collaborative environment.
