Job Summary

The University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) is seeking a Student Research Assistant to join their Institute of Pathology, supporting cutting-edge research projects. This role involves crucial data management and documentation tasks, including independent research within internal clinic databases and patient reports, and meticulously completing the cancer registry by documenting patient data, disease progression, and administered therapies. The ideal candidate is a currently enrolled student in Medicine, Biology, or Biochemistry, possesses fluent German skills, and is comfortable using standard IT applications. While initial experience or affinity for Pathology or Oncology is beneficial, comprehensive training will be provided. This flexible, part-time position offers approximately 8 hours per week and is initially limited to one year, providing valuable exposure to high-level interdisciplinary pathology and oncology research.
