Job Summary

GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences is seeking a Research Associate to join their Computational Social Science (CSS) department in Cologne. This role is integral to the Jupyter4NFDI project, which aims to establish and operate a foundational service for accessible computing infrastructures within Germany's National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). The successful candidate will be responsible for building and operating software services, developing training materials for reproducible data analysis, and gathering requirements from NFDI consortia. Key tasks include managing BinderHub and JupyterHub instances and conducting research in computational reproducibility. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diplom, Master, or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
