The Hochschule Offenburg is seeking a Deputy Head of Human Resources to play a pivotal role in managing HR operations for over 560 employees. This position involves actively shaping job advertisements, overseeing contract management, coordinating teaching assignments, and supporting employee integration processes. A key aspect of the role is driving the digitalization of HR processes and contributing innovative ideas to projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR law, practical experience with legal regulations, and a high degree of digital competence. This role offers an opportunity to work in an international academic environment, contribute to strategic HR initiatives, and potentially transition to a permanent position after an initial two-year contract.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Public Management, Administrative Sciences, Business Law, Law, or a comparable field, preferably with a focus on human resources.
Experience
- Practical experience in applying HR legal regulations
- Experience with legal questions (e.g., contract drafting, fixed-term regulations, labor law cases)
- Experience with project management methods (desirable)
