Job Summary

The Offenburg University of Applied Sciences is seeking a dedicated Climate Protection Manager to drive and implement the existing climate protection concept. This role involves the comprehensive management of climate initiatives, including documenting achieved greenhouse gas (GHG) savings and establishing a robust structure for cross-departmental collaboration and information sharing. Key responsibilities include implementing and utilizing climate protection controlling routines—such as data collection, indicator calculation, and annual energy and GHG balance reporting—and presenting these findings to relevant committees. The successful candidate will also be responsible for updating the implementation plan for the next three to five years and ensuring the long-term establishment of climate protection management within the organizational structure. Candidates should possess a scientific or technical Master's degree in environmental protection, energy, or sustainability, coupled with strong communication and project experience in energy management and climate neutrality.

Experience
