Job Summary

As an IT Administrator specializing in Middleware and Applications, you will be a key player in ensuring the seamless operation of IT services for Bielefeld University, supporting approximately 30,000 users across research, teaching, and administration. You will be responsible for the administration, troubleshooting, and restoration of services, working within experienced teams to conceptualize, implement, and operate sophisticated and secure IT services, particularly for the Medical Faculty. This role involves both project-based and operational tasks, including designing and deploying server applications on-premises and in cloud environments, automating systems with scripting, providing 2nd/3rd-level support, and maintaining documentation.
