This role is for an experienced Commissioning Engineer with a strong focus on electrical systems within the shipbuilding industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end commissioning and testing of complex ship systems, ensuring smooth functionality and adherence to project specifications. Day-to-day tasks include conducting visual inspections, functional testing of electrical equipment, data acquisition for performance evaluation, and meticulous documentation of the entire commissioning process. Collaboration with project management and technical departments is key, as is the ability to diagnose and resolve both hardware and software errors. The position also involves handing over completed systems to clients and classification societies. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the electrical field and further training as a Technician, or a comparable qualification
