Job Summary

This role is for an Embedded Software Developer focused on ensuring high performance, safety, and security within complex systems, likely in the automotive sector. The core responsibilities involve supporting software requirements analysis, designing and maintaining a robust modular software architecture, and selecting appropriate central control units. You will actively participate in developing essential base software functions, integrating model-based auto-code, and maintaining detailed code documentation. A critical aspect of the job is implementing Continuous Integration (CI) and automated testing to guarantee high code quality, alongside performing developer tests and debugging source code to identify and resolve issues. Ideal candidates possess a background in MINT (Science/Technology) or Computer Science, professional experience in automotive software development, and familiarity with model-based tools like MATLAB and Simulink. Knowledge of embedded operating systems (OSEK, RTOS), microprocessor architectures, and relevant bus systems (CAN, SPI) is highly desirable, as is experience with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity (ISO 21434).
