Job Summary

This role involves hands-on work in the maintenance, installation, and commissioning of electricity and gas meter systems. The technician will be responsible for installing, dismantling, and commissioning billing measurement devices in compliance with industry standards (TAB, VDE, DVGW), preparing necessary documentation, and conducting on-site inspections for complaints. Key tasks also include mounting grid components, performing maintenance, and troubleshooting metering technology, especially for RLM and feed-in systems, utilizing complex measuring tools. The position requires safely performing live work according to guidelines, leading fault clearance measures, and ensuring proper execution of assignments as a system or work supervisor. Additionally, the role includes maintaining documentation, supporting specialized projects, and caring for assigned measuring devices, tools, and vehicles. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in an electrical profession and/or as a plant mechanic (SHK). Specialized qualification (e.g., expertise, special training) required.

  • Experience with RLM and feed-in systems
  • Experience in leading fault clearance measures
  • Experience as a system or work supervisor
  • Experience in knowledge transfer to apprentices and service technicians
