Job Summary

This role at the Koblenz Police Headquarters involves ensuring the operational readiness of critical communication and control center technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of telecommunication systems, emergency call facilities, PC-based control center systems, and digital radio systems. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Information/System Electronics, Telecommunications, Communication Technology, Electronics, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in information/system electronics, telecommunications, communication technology, or electronics
  • Detailed knowledge in the configuration and administration of telecommunication systems and their peripheral components
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in setting up and supporting communication and network systems/technology
  • Experience in distribution technology (Patch/LSA distributors, setup, maintenance, documentation)
  • Experience in setting up, maintaining, and repairing PC systems and current operating systems/applications
  • Willingness to participate in police operations and on-call duty
