Job Summary

The Technical University of Dresden is seeking a Laboratory Engineer for its Faculty of Chemistry and Food Chemistry, specifically within the Professorship of Inorganic Molecular Chemistry. This role involves active participation in research projects focused on extraction, recovery, and molecular chemistry, including the planning, execution, and optimization of chemical and analytical processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-value large-scale equipment such as NMR, HPLC-MS, and X-ray diffractometry. Additionally, the position includes supporting teaching activities by preparing and supervising student practicals and developing experimental instructions. A key aspect of the role is ensuring laboratory safety, managing chemicals, conducting risk assessments, and providing safety training.
