Job Summary

The Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR) is seeking a dedicated Technical Building Equipment Specialist with a focus on Electrical Engineering. In this role, you will act as the client representative for federal construction projects, particularly within cultural buildings and research facilities, with a significant focus on a new laboratory build for the Robert Koch Institute (RKI). Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve providing expert technical advice to project teams, coordinating interdisciplinary TGA project teams, developing specifications for external planning and engineering firms, and meticulously reviewing planning documents and tenders. You will also oversee contractors to ensure compliance with technical standards and contractual obligations. Required Skills

Education

University Diploma or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification

Experience

  • Experience with building renovation and existing structures
  • Experience in applying AMEV recommendations
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to external planners and internal staff
