Job Summary

This role involves taking charge of the technical planning, calculation, and design of heating centers and heat networks for decentralized urban and commercial projects, focusing on 100% renewable heat. The successful candidate will develop concepts for new and existing buildings, utilizing heat pumps with air, wastewater, and shallow geothermal sources. Key responsibilities include selecting system components, coordinating internally with MSR/electrical planning and technical drawing teams, and externally with manufacturers and other project stakeholders. The position requires planning and calculating projects through various service phases (LP 1-7) and creating bills of quantities using ORCA-AVA. Required Skills

Education

Degree in a technical or energy-related field with a focus on building energy systems, supply engineering, technical building equipment (TGA), renewable energies, engineering, or comparable qualifications. Alternatively, a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker) qualification from a trades background with planning experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning and designing components in heating centers
  • Experience with heat pump systems and heat networks is ideal
  • Experience in technical building services is beneficial
  • Experience with simulation software like Polysun is ideal
