Job Summary
This role is for an Electrical Design Engineer who will be instrumental in conceptualizing and realizing innovative production and test facilities. The position involves working within a research and development department, focusing on systems for the automotive, aerospace, and energy industries, as well as battery, hydrogen, lightweight, digitalization, and recycling technologies. Key responsibilities include planning, designing, implementing, and documenting electrical systems, pneumatics, control cabinets, and safety devices for plant developments and automation projects. The successful candidate will also oversee manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, and on-site optimization of systems, and act as the responsible electrical specialist (VEFK). Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or equivalent; alternatively, Master Craftsman or Technician with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical design and automation technology
- Professional experience in plant or special machinery construction is advantageous
- Professional experience in pneumatics is advantageous
