Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Chemical Laboratory Technician responsible for the expert handling of hazardous waste. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting, receiving, sorting, and packaging dangerous waste, as well as identifying incoming waste through organoleptic tests. The technician will classify waste according to disposal or recycling facility requirements, manage storage, and create packing lists for shipping and further processing. Additionally, they will act as a specialist for mobile hazardous material collection (TRGS 520) and review transport documents to ensure legal compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, practical experience, and a proactive approach to their work, contributing to a varied and responsible environment within the waste management sector.
