Job Summary
This senior role requires a Finance Business Partner to strategically manage sustainability finance activities for a global FMCG company, specifically focusing on operations across African countries. The successful candidate will act as the key finance lead for all Sustainability P&L and Balance Sheet topics, driving efficiency, automation, and accurate costing. A core responsibility involves proactive risk identification related to regulatory traceability standards (such as EUDR) and managing financial activities for the company's foundation, including budgeting and reporting. This position demands deep SAP EDP knowledge to lead the transformation of accounting and reporting systems, ensuring regional practices align with global standards set by the Center of Excellence. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in finance with a strong focus on business partnering and Financial Planning & Analysis.
- At least 8 years of experience working with branches in Africa on sustainability accounting topics.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing local financial processes in a branch, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Proven track record in working with regulatory frameworks such as EUDR and strong understanding of their implications for traceability and compliance.
- Extensive experience and deep knowledge of SAP EDP systems.
