Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Developer specializing in Treasury systems to join a dynamic IT service company in the Canton of Aargau. You will be crucial in developing, optimizing, and maintaining the core Treasury module for the client. Working within an agile Scrum team, your daily responsibilities will involve designing and implementing innovative IT solutions, translating complex business requirements into technical concepts, and executing them primarily using Oracle PL/SQL while adhering to best practices. A significant part of the role includes performance optimization on relational databases and ensuring system reliability through structured testing and detailed technical documentation. The ideal candidate brings a higher education in Computer Science or Software Engineering, coupled with extensive professional experience (8+ years) in PL/SQL development, specifically within core-banking and Treasury software solutions. Expertise in foreign exchange and money market systems is essential, alongside mandatory B1 German and good English skills. This position offers the chance to drive modernization and continuous improvement in a specialized financial technology domain.

Completed higher education (University/FH degree) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience as a PL/SQL Developer programming Core-Banking Systems
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience developing Treasury software solutions
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software architecture and performance optimization on relational databases
  • Extensive experience and profound expertise in Foreign Exchange (FX) and Money Market systems
