Job Summary

This role is for a Geoinformatics Specialist or Geoscientist with a strong IT background to join the Central Office of the States for IT-supported Decision-Making Aids and Programs in Plant Protection (ZEPP). The successful candidate will primarily focus on the "PAM-Service" project, a web service designed to reduce risks in the application of fertilizers and plant protection products, which is now being rolled out nationwide. Key responsibilities include conducting research and development for practical solutions in geospatial data processing, creating requirement analyses for the PAM service, and developing scalable IT methods for geodata management. The position also involves scientific analysis of satellite and drone data, building WebGIS viewers, and developing REST services and backend functionalities.
