Job Summary

The West Palatinate Police Headquarters in Kaiserslautern is seeking a dedicated OSINT Support Officer to enhance operational effectiveness. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and fulfilling OSINT requests by researching public and digital big data for operationally relevant content across various media types (posts, pics, reels, reports, video, audio). You will utilize advanced analysis and evaluation tools, handle emergency provider requests, and critically assess information by cross-referencing it with internal police databases and current operations. A key aspect involves proactive monitoring of telemedia and social media for content of significance to the police, ensuring proper documentation and dissemination. The position also entails managing web and social media accounts, supporting the conceptual development of big data research, and providing direct support to police leadership during operations, including real-time monitoring, visualization of situational information, and data research within internal systems. This is a crucial role for individuals with strong analytical skills and a commitment to public safety.
