Job Summary

This role is for a highly motivated Doctoral Researcher to contribute to cutting-edge research in solid-state batteries at Forschungszentrum Jülich, a leading European research center. The successful candidate will focus on developing new materials and components for sulfide/halide-type solid-state batteries, aiming to overcome current challenges like limited ionic conductivity and high interfacial resistance. Day-to-day tasks involve extensive literature review, designing and executing experiments for material science and electrochemical analysis, and presenting findings in various forums. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree with excellent grades in Material Science, Physics, Engineering, Chemistry, or another relevant discipline

Experience
