Job Summary

This role involves providing crucial first-level support for flight simulators and visual systems, ensuring their optimal performance and availability for training. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex technical equipment and systems, including conducting preventive maintenance and ensuring the accuracy of technical documentation. Key duties include repairing electrical components, performing hardware and software modifications, and meticulously documenting all work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in fields such as electrical engineering, electronics, or mechatronics, coupled with practical experience in computer and network technology. This position requires shift work and a high degree of flexibility, making it suitable for a dedicated and analytical professional who thrives in a dynamic technical environment.

Required Skills

Education

Intermediate school leaving certificate, Technical training in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, IT, Television Technology, or Media Technology. Further training as a State-Certified Technician is advantageous.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, IT, television technology, or media technology
  • Practical experience in computer/network technology
  • Experience working with procedural instructions
