This role involves working as a Biological-Technical Assistant within the Institute for Clinical Pathology at Klinikum Wolfsburg, initially on a temporary basis to cover maternity and parental leave, with potential for permanent employment. The successful candidate will perform essential tasks in histology, including assisting with medical dissection, operating various microtomes (sliding, rotary, cryostat), processing sample material, and performing classic histological stains like Giemsa, PAS, and Masson-Goldner. Key responsibilities also include immunohistology, maintaining laboratory equipment, and archiving samples. Education

Completed vocational training as a Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA) with a recognized professional license in Germany

Experience

  • Experience in histology is advantageous
  • Experience with hospital information systems, ideally Dedalus Orbis, is desirable
