The City of Duisburg is seeking a dedicated Controlling and Reporting Officer to establish and manage a strategic real estate controlling system. This role involves independently developing a controlling framework for strategic real estate management, actively shaping the city's real estate development, and contributing to key investment and sales decisions. Required Skills
Education
For Civil Servants: Bachelor's degree in general non-technical administrative service (NRW VAP2.1). For Employees: Second administrative examination (Angestelltenlehrgang II) OR qualification as a certified administrative specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt) OR Bachelor's/Diploma (FH) in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, or a related field (with potential for further qualification in Verwaltungslehrgang II) OR first administrative examination (Verwaltungslehrgang I) with exemption from training/examination duties and equivalent skills/experience.
Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience after acquiring the required qualification (for both civil servants and employees)
- Extensive industry knowledge of the real estate sector
Languages
Additional
- Must be eligible for employment as a civil servant (A 12 LBesG NRW) or public sector employee (EG 11 TVöD) in Germany. Must submit application in German.
