Job Summary

Join the German Pension Insurance Federation, a cornerstone of social security in Germany, as a Network Administrator. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for installing, configuring, and operating network components, primarily focusing on Cisco systems. You'll also conceptualize and develop automation scripts using tools like Ansible and Python, monitor network infrastructure, and troubleshoot complex issues. Ensuring IT security standards are met according to BSI Basic Protection guidelines for Critical Infrastructures (KRITIS) is a key part of the job, along with actively participating in IT projects. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor, Diploma FH) in IT or completed vocational training in IT or comparable practical experience in IT

Experience

  • Several years of job-relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge and experience in at least one specialized network technology (SD-WAN, DMVPN, ISE, Cisco Catalyst Center, ACI, OSPF)
