Job Summary
The Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund, Germany's largest pension insurance provider, is seeking multiple IT Security Consultants to join its Joint Data Center team in Berlin or Würzburg. This critical role involves organizing and coordinating the information security for approximately 50 million insured individuals. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing, updating, and aligning IT security concepts for the Joint Data Center, as well as initiating, advising on, and controlling the implementation of information security measures across the department. The ideal candidate will possess a degree or vocational training in IT, several years of relevant professional experience, and comprehensive knowledge of BSI IT-Baseline Protection (IT-Grundschutz). Success in this position requires expertise in IT security, project execution, documentation, and strong communication skills to mediate between technical and business stakeholders.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Bachelor or Diploma FH) in the IT field, or completed vocational training in the IT field, or equivalent IT qualification
Experience
- Several years of job-relevant professional experience in IT
- Experience in IT security
- Experience in executing IT projects
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work in Berlin or Würzburg; Certified Security Officer (ideal but not mandatory)
