Job Summary

The Deutsche Rentenversicherung (DRV), Europe's largest statutory pension insurer, is seeking an IT System Administrator for Asset and Configuration Management to join their Client Infrastructure team in Berlin. This role involves administering BMC products for Asset and Configuration Management, including CMDB, Discovery, and Spoon Integrator. The successful candidate will optimize related processes, integrate various data sources with the CMDB, and improve interfaces. Key responsibilities also include conducting requirements analyses, planning IT architecture, and continuously enhancing IT systems. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, OR a degree in another field with proven application-oriented and relevant professional experience, OR a completed IT-related vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist, IT System Electronics Technician, IT System Management Clerk, Digitalization Management Clerk).

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT System Administration, specifically with BMC products for Asset and Configuration Management
  • Professional experience in IT Service Management according to ITIL, particularly Asset and Configuration Management
  • At least 18 months of relevant professional experience if holding an IT-related vocational qualification
  • At least three years of current relevant professional experience in Information Technology if no formal IT education
