Job Summary

This role is for an experienced (Senior) Data Scientist & ML Product Engineer who will be instrumental in expanding machine learning capabilities within strategic business areas like non-food and logistics. The successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership of ML projects on the Google Cloud Platform, from requirements analysis and conception to proof-of-concept and production readiness. This involves leading projects with budget and resource responsibility, developing scalable data models and ML pipelines using modern tech stacks like dbt, Airflow, and Vertex AI, and implementing automated CI/CD deployment pipelines. Additionally, the role focuses on fostering data literacy among stakeholders, communicating the potential and limitations of AI/ML, and managing change for successful integration of new ML services within the company.
