Job Summary

The University of Rostock is seeking a Research Associate to join their Department of Piston Engines and Internal Combustion Engines. This role involves conducting cutting-edge research on the analysis and testing of lubricating oils for ammonia-fueled engines, specifically within the "Campfire CF 08_4" project. The successful candidate will be responsible for adapting a synthesis gas/aging test rig for ammonia and ammonia-containing combustion and exhaust gases, developing practical gassing conditions, and performing analytical measurements of oil parameters like density, viscosity, and water content. The position also requires the use of advanced analytical techniques such as GPC, GC, and MS to identify reaction products.
