Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Laboratory Assistant specializing in Anion Exchange Membranes (AEM) at Schmitt Engineering, a key partner in industrial technical expertise in Erlangen, Germany. The successful candidate will be instrumental in preparing samples for analysis, conducting swelling tests and membrane characterizations across various media and temperatures, and supporting the coating of large-surface membranes. Daily tasks also include polymer dissolution experiments, operating a three-roll mill for paste production, and assisting with new experimental setups and general lab logistics. This position requires a background in chemistry or laboratory work and offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in a supportive team environment.
