Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to work at the intersection of electrical and information technology and German foreign and security policy within the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA). The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing technical expert opinions on export transactions with security or foreign policy relevance, supporting the national and international listing of goods for export control, and drafting technical reports for federal ministries and other authorities. This position involves critical work in preventing threats to Germany and its allies from conventional and mass destruction weapons, offering a long-term perspective with professional development opportunities in a secure public service environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Information Security, Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable specialization.
