The University of Bremen is seeking an IT / Media Informatics Specialist to join its Center for Multimedia in Teaching (ZMML). This role, focused on 'Media Services,' involves the technical and organizational infrastructure for producing, managing, archiving, and providing audiovisual media in an academic context. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining the video portal (frontend) and media management (backend), integrating systems, planning automated video recordings, and providing user support. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Computer Science or Media Informatics, strong web application development skills in Java and PHP, and experience with version control, databases, web servers, and streaming servers. Prior experience with automated recording systems like Opencast and media production software is essential.
