Job Summary
This Senior IT Service Technician role involves ensuring the digital future-readiness of the German Federal Armed Forces by providing stable, secure, and efficient IT services. Based in Szczecin, Poland, for a 24-month long-term assignment after initial training in Germany, you will perform on-site IT support, including incident resolution, IMAC (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes) tasks, and hardware/software installation, commissioning, upgrades, and maintenance. The position requires expertise in IT infrastructure and system administration, including network and server environments, and providing 1st and 2nd-level user support. This role is ideal for a proactive IT specialist who values contributing to Germany's security through advanced IT solutions and thrives in an international, challenging environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Systems Electronics Technician, IT Specialist, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Approximately 3 years of relevant professional experience in Field Service
- International work experience is advantageous

- Class B driving license required; willingness for a 24-month long-term assignment and temporary relocation to Szczecin, Poland; participation in on-call duties; ITIL knowledge and experience with DGUV V3 are advantageous; security clearance likely implied due to work with Bundeswehr.
