Job Summary

The Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL) is seeking an IT Architect to join their team in Erlangen. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, operating, and optimizing the server and network environment, including maintaining and expanding network documentation. You will also collaborate with the IT security department and provide second-level support. This position requires a strong understanding of network protocols, experience with Windows Server/Client environments, and familiarity with Linux. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or Diploma (FH) with an IT focus

Experience

  • Professional experience in network (LAN/WAN) and VoIP
  • Advanced understanding of protocols (e.g., DHCP/DNS)
  • Good knowledge of Windows server/client environments
  • Knowledge in the Linux area
  • Sensitivity to IT security aspects
