Job Summary

As a Senior IT Service Manager at the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL) in Bad Kissingen, you will play a crucial role in modernizing the public health service through digital health administration. You will be responsible for building and developing the IT service organization, collaborating closely with senior IT management and the Project Management Office to implement IT strategy and architecture. Your day-to-day tasks will involve technical consulting for IT service and operational contracts, ensuring the continuous and smooth operation of public health applications, and overseeing service quality through Service Level Agreements. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or University Diploma in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Administrative Informatics, or a comparable field

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience as an IT Service Manager
  • Ideally experience in the public sector and/or healthcare
  • Advantageous: Prior experience in public health service or as a consultant in the healthcare sector/digital transformation projects
  • Experience with IT architectures, IT service processes according to ITIL, and conceptual work
  • Experience in creating Service Level Agreements
  • Experience with data protection and IT security guidelines
  • Experience with presentations and reporting
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
