Job Summary
The City of Duisburg is seeking an Energy Manager for DuisburgSport, an independent municipal entity managing sports facilities. This role involves comprehensive energy management and controlling for all DuisburgSport areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating energy controlling reports, conducting variance analyses and profitability calculations, and developing and maintaining an energy management database. Key tasks also include recording energy consumption in sports facilities, monitoring energy price developments, preparing invoices, and managing grant acquisition. Required Skills
Education
For Civil Servants: Bachelor's degree in general non-technical administrative service (NRW). For Employees: Bachelor's or Diploma (FH) in a relevant field, or administrative-specific training with a second administrative examination (Angestelltenlehrgang II), or certified administrative specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirtin/Verwaltungsfachwirt), or administrative-specific training with a first administrative examination (Verwaltungslehrgang I) with exemption from training/examination requirements and equivalent skills/experience.
Experience
- • At least 2 years of professional experience in energy management or energy economics after acquiring the relevant qualification (for both civil servants and employees)
