Job Summary

This role involves contributing to public safety by shaping complex IT systems within the German Federal Administration. The specialist will focus on developing and maintaining house-wide architecture and development standards, particularly for the central software factory 'IsyFact,' used in numerous projects for efficient application development. Day-to-day tasks include supporting IT architects in evaluating system reusability, managing requirements, changes, testing, and releases, and assisting with the implementation of container-based IT systems. The position requires an agile mindset, experience in IT project monitoring and coordination, and a passion for technically complex IT projects. It's an opportunity to work in a collaborative, agile team environment, contributing to national and EU-level public security IT initiatives.

Required Skills

Education

IHK certification as IT Specialist (Application Development or System Integration) OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or Engineering (MINT)

Experience

  • 2 years in agile project management
  • 2 years in IT architecture standards and build- and deploy management
  • 2 years in software development (preferred Java/JavaScript) and project management (if no MINT degree)
  • 3 years in software development (preferred Java/JavaScript) and project management (if no IHK/degree)
