Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the operational readiness and modernization of Berlin's 36,000-kilometer power grid, specifically focusing on metering management within the Metering department. The Technical Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the setup and commissioning of metering points in various voltage systems (low, medium, high), as well as for renewable energy (EEG), combined heat and power (KWK) plants, and e-mobility charging infrastructure. Key responsibilities include implementing technical requirements for metering points, participating in projects, setting up master data in billing systems, mapping metering concepts, analyzing operational processes, and coordinating across departments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong electro-technical background, knowledge of relevant regulations, and excellent communication skills, contributing to a dynamic team focused on energy transition initiatives in Berlin.
