Job Summary
The Berlin Fire Department is seeking IT Systems Electronics Technicians to join their Communication Technology department. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical setup, migration, and dismantling of infrastructure networks, including WLAN, telecommunications, and security systems. Day-to-day tasks involve installing, monitoring, and operating networks and ICT systems, performing hardware and software upgrades, creating system overviews and troubleshooting guides, and analyzing system malfunctions using tools like PRTG or Checkmk. You will also provide technical consultation and support for various projects. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Systems Electronics Technician or equivalent qualifications in information or electrical engineering (e.g., Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Electronics Technician for Information and System Technology, Information Electronics Technician) combined with relevant professional experience. Proof of equivalence for foreign educational qualifications is required.
