Job Summary

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will play a critical role in responding to and managing major information security incidents, leading task forces through the entire Security Incident Lifecycle. This involves coordinating investigation activities, partnering with engineering teams, interacting with third-party platform partners, and steering high-level stakeholder communication, including directly engaging with senior executives. Beyond incident management, the role focuses on continuous improvement of monitoring coverage and designing tabletop exercises to enhance incident response preparedness. This position requires deep expertise in cyber defense, incident response, and security technologies, with a strong emphasis on quick decision-making under pressure and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security monitoring, detection, and analysis, particularly within AWS and Kubernetes environments, and proficiency with relevant security frameworks and scripting languages.
