Job Summary

This role is for an IT Specialist focused on web-based applications and services within a state-level academy for food, agriculture, and forestry in Landshut, Germany. The successful candidate will be instrumental in operating and maintaining a Bavaria-wide employee portal (MAP), which serves as a personalized intranet for up to 7,500 users. Key responsibilities include participating in the re-development project of the MAP, providing 2nd-level user support, and designing and conducting training sessions for users. The position requires a strong background in web technologies and digital media, with a preference for experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP or Java, Linux server operating systems, container virtualization, and relational databases.
