Job Summary

This role involves conducting research within the DFG-funded EDWANCE project, focusing on developing work assistance systems that foster personal growth and meaningful work experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for interviewing domain experts, developing theories and models for eudaimonic well-being, and conceptualizing, implementing, and evaluating prototypes for industrial assembly and knowledge work. This position offers a unique opportunity for scientific qualification, leading to a doctoral degree, within an interdisciplinary team collaborating with experts in Human-Computer Interaction, psychology, industry, and public institutions. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, along with a commitment to publishing research findings.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (State Examination, Diploma, Master, or comparable) in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Media Informatics, Human Computer Interaction, or a comparable field with at least a good result.

Experience

  • Experience in conceptualizing and implementing complex IT systems
  • Experience in assistance systems, Digital Health, or Mental Health applications is ideal
  • Initial experience in project management and publishing research results is desirable
  • Commitment to scientific qualification (doctoral degree)
