Job Summary

The Kiel Personnel and Organization Office is seeking a dedicated Process & Innovation Officer to join their Central Control and Intendancy staff. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of the city administration by focusing on strategic process and project management. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing strategies and concepts for project and process management methods and tools, coordinating and evaluating digitalization projects, creating and optimizing process maps, and establishing robust project and process controlling. The ideal candidate will bring innovative ideas, possess strong planning and coordination skills, and be adept at conflict resolution. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor or FH-Diplom) with a standard study period of at least 6 semesters in: Economics, Administrative Management, Public Management, Political Science, Administrative Science, Public Law, or Law. Alternatively, completed career examination/qualification for the first entry-level of career group two, General Services, or completed Angestelltenlehrgang II (Employee Training Course II).

Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience based on the required education and training
  • Experience gained from at least 2 different workplaces (each with a minimum of 2 years)
