Job Summary
This role is for an Administrative Officer focusing on finance, organization, and IT within the Herzogtum Lauenburg district administration, located in the scenic Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park near Lübeck and Hamburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial management of the IT-Allianz Nord, including preparing economic plans and annual financial statements, executing budgets, and ensuring compliance with VAT regulations. Key tasks involve analyzing and implementing VAT-related matters, preparing monthly VAT pre-declarations and annual tax returns, and assisting with inventory concepts and execution. This position requires strong financial acumen, particularly in municipal accounting and VAT law, coupled with excellent IT skills, especially in MS Office and ideally ERP software like MACH Finanzen. Education
• Civil service qualification for career group 2, first entry-level, general services, OR • Successful completion as an Administrative Assistant with the Second Employee Course, OR • Certified Balance Accountant (IHK)
