Job Summary
This role involves direct collaboration with PhD students and postdocs on cutting-edge research in battery technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating novel metal fiber-based current collectors, processing and analyzing colloid dispersions and polymer materials, and manufacturing and testing battery electrodes and cells. Key responsibilities also include supporting the organization of chemistry and battery laboratories, as well as managing research and data infrastructure. This position is ideal for someone with practical laboratory experience in physics, chemistry, and preferably in polymers, colloids, nanoparticles, or battery research, who possesses excellent organizational and communication skills, and a strong willingness to learn and contribute creatively in an interdisciplinary and international environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Technical Assistant (CTA), Laboratory Assistant in Physics, Engineering or Chemistry, or a comparable scientific education
Experience
- Practical laboratory experience in physics and chemistry
- Preferably practical laboratory experience with polymers, colloids, nanoparticles, or battery research
Languages
Additional
- Initial employment contract for two years with possibility of extension. Willingness to acquire knowledge in new areas and contribute creatively. Work locations in Stuttgart and Heilbronn.
