Join FERCHAU's team as a Battery Technology Engineer, where you'll be instrumental in advancing technology for diverse clients across various industries. This role focuses on the full product lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on the development and optimization of Lithium-ion batteries and their management systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include drafting specifications for functional safety, analyzing performance curves and failure mechanisms, and developing simulations and test procedures to assess battery behavior under various load conditions. You'll also contribute to hardware system architecture, define interfaces, and support the design of circuit diagrams and PCB layouts. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field, coupled with significant experience in battery and energy storage system development. Proficiency in simulation tools like Matlab/Simulink and experience with ISO 26262 are highly valued, along with strong German and English language skills.
