Job Summary

This role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance within chemical management, specifically concerning REACh, SCIP, and CLP regulations. Day-to-day tasks involve performing conformity checks on existing and new chemical systems, monitoring regulatory changes, and managing critical documentation such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS). The Chemist will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and updating SDS, maintaining the internal hazardous substance database, and managing data within the ERP system. Furthermore, the role includes optimizing hazardous substance management processes, collaborating with external working groups on regulatory topics, and conducting environmental impact analyses. Success requires a degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, strong regulatory knowledge (REACh, CLP), and experience in SDS creation, making this a crucial role for maintaining high safety and compliance standards.
