Job Summary

This role involves conducting cutting-edge research in continuous production concepts for nanoparticulate therapeutics, specifically focusing on extracellular vesicles, as part of a BMBF-funded project. The successful candidate will develop chemically defined cell culture media, implement continuous processführung for upstream processing, and utilize advanced process analytics like Raman spectroscopy. Key responsibilities include designing experiments for mesenchymal stromal cells, optimizing stirred tank reactors for perfusion, mathematically describing processes, and integrating inline Raman spectroscopy for metabolite control and automation. Required Skills

Education

University degree (e.g., University Diploma or accredited Master's) in Biotechnology or a related field

Experience

  • Experience in mesenchymal stromal cells, extracellular vesicles, or cell culture/bioprocess engineering is desirable
  • Knowledge in inline process analytics, measurement and control technology, and process automation
  • Experience with process development experiments, especially in stirred tank reactors
  • Initial experience in research and publishing scientific papers is advantageous
