Job Summary
This PhD position focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of malignant lymphoma subtypes and identifying predictive biomarkers and novel therapeutic targets. The successful candidate will independently plan and execute experiments, analyze data, develop experimental strategies, and prepare scientific publications. Located within the Department of Medicine A – Hematology, Oncology and Pneumology at a leading German university hospital, this role offers an excellent research infrastructure, a stimulating multidisciplinary and international environment, and intensive mentoring. It's an ideal opportunity for a motivated individual passionate about basic and translational cancer research to contribute to improving molecular classification, diagnosis, and individualized treatment strategies.
Required Skills
Education
Master, Diploma or equivalent degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular medicine or an equivalent discipline
Experience
- Professional experience in protein biochemistry, molecular biology, or cell biology
- Strong interest in basic and translational cancer research
